Let’s get Started:

Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Card Face: 5.5 x 4.25

Gold cardstock: 5.5 x .25

Card Face:

I placed the card face in my stamp positioner and stamped each of the trees with black Memento ink, staying towards the left-hand side.
I coloured the trees with alcohol markers.
I used an embossing pen and gold embossing powder to add subtle shine to each tree.
I masked the right-hand edge of the card face with Mint Tape, and then laid the card face on the grip mat.
I placed the stencil and then used a light hand to apply green ink to the exposed surface, taking care not to go over the trees.
After removing the first layer of the stencil I placed the second one and used the same ink and a slightly heavier hand.
I removed the stencil and the Mint Tape and put the card face into my stamp positioner.
I stamped the sentiment with bright red ink.

Assembly

I glued the card face to the card base.
I glued the strip of gold cardstock to the card face, vertically along the edge of the stencilling.
I added three faceted gold gems as shown on the image.

Final Thoughts:

I love these wee trees, they are just so cute! I was really happy with the combination of stencil, trees and sentiment - they all have a whimsical feel and played together very well.
