Gingerbread

Let’s get Started:

Cream Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Border: 5.5 x 4.25

Card Face: 4 x 4

Card Face:

• I laid the card face on my grip mat and then positioned the stencil.

• I added the pattern with dark blue ink.

• I put a piece of dimensional foam on the back of the card face, and cut it slightly smaller.

Other:

• I retrieved the gingerbread couple from my binder** - they had already been stamped, coloured and fussy cut.

• I ran a breyer over the same blue ink pad, picking up ink and then transferring it to an embossing folder. I repeated this a couple of times to get enough ink on the EF, and then added the border layer and ran it through my Big Shot.

Assembly

• I glued the border layer to the card base and then added the card face towards the top of the piece.

• I glued the gingerbread couple in place as shown.

• I added three tiny red stars to complete the design.

Final Thoughts:

This little gingerbread couple is adorable, and I was happy to pull them out of my binder and put them to use.
