Would you like to experiment with a design like this? You'll find a supply list below, including a link to the stencil I used from A Colorful Life Designs.  Follow the link and use discount code ChrisFan10 to save 10% on your entire order! (Master Creator Bundles are excluded as they already have a 20% discount built in.)

Let’s get started:-

Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Blue Layer: 5.5 x 4.25

Card Face:  5.5 x 3.25

2 gold stirps, 5..5 x ⅛”

Card Face:

This stencil has 6 women -  so deciding which 3 to use took a moment. In the end, I decided to use the 3 that make up the bottom row.

  • I put the card face onto the Grip Mat and positioned the stencil.

  •  I masked off the top row and applied soft green ink across the openings.

  • I selected an embossing folder with a subtle texture, inserted the card face, and ran both through the Big Shot.

Other:

  • I inserted the narrow gold strips into the same folder and ran them through the Big Shot.

  • I stamped the sentiment and used a circular die to cut it out.

Assembly:

  • I glued the blue layer to the card base,  and added the card face on top of that., centering horizontally.

  • I glued the gold strips on either side of this, butting them up snugly against the card face.

  • I put dimensional foam on the back of the sentiment and placed it on the card face as shown.

Final Thoughts

This stencil is a favourite of mine, with 6 women unabashedly expressing their joy. I quite like the simplicity of this card, as it allows the impact of the card to be their joy.
