Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25
Border: patterned paper 5.5 x 4.25
Card Face: 5.5 x 4.25
Vellum: 5.5 x 4.25
Card Face:
This stencil includes a slice of pie and several sentiments: I only used the pie on this card.
I laid the card face onto the grip mat and (after masking off any nearby sentiments) I positioned the slice of pie and applied red, green and brown ink in the appropriate areas. I had to mask carefully as I went to ensure that the colours didn’t end up in the wrong spots.
I masked off this first piece of pie by tracing it on a piece of scrap paper and cutting it out then using a loop of Mint Tape to hold it in place.
I applied blue, green and brown ink, masking carefully again to ensure the colours went where I wanted them.
For both the red and blue pies I finished by using a Size zero shading brush to add dots of colour inside the piece to represent berries.
Other
I die cut the pieces of the apron from both patterned paper and white cardstock, as shown in the image.
I stamped the pocket on the apron.
The apron pieces were cut from the center of the patterned paper: I used the outer edges to die cut a narrow frame.
Assembly
I glued the card face to the card base.
I used microdot adhesive to secure the vellum to the card face.
I cut the frame apart at the upper right and lower left-hand corners and trimmed the ends to the desired size.I used micro dot adhesive to secure these to the vellum.
I used this same adhesive to secure the pieces of the apron.
I added bits of bling to the open corners to finish off the card.
Final Thoughts:
I was quite happy with this card when I finished it, although I had a few things to figure out along the way.
The stencilled pieces of the pie were so vibrant that the apron was getting lost on the card face, to solve that issue I brought in the vellum.
Liquid glue would have warped the vellum, so I had to use the microdot adhesive
After the stencilling and the apron were done, the card still needed something. In the end, the addition of the frame solved that.

I have listed which products I have used, and where they may be purchased. It's a huge marketplace and in most instances, there are multiple sources and many alternatives to choose from.
