During the holidays "fast and simple" is often the rule of the day: this card is all that - and it makes a beautiful impact as well.

Let’s Get Started:

Card Base: 4.25 x 11, scored and folded at 5.5

Card Face: 4 x 5.5

Small Scraps of Cardstock for Sentiment and Snowflake

Card Face:

  • I sprayed the back of the mask with Pixie Spray, waited a few seconds, and then laid it on the card face.

(Fetching Snowflake has two components: the inner part is the stencil, and the outer part is a mask.)

  • I applied DIY embossing paste ** through the stencil using a flat, foam applicator.

  • I removed the stencil and immediately put it in water.

  • I set the card face aside to dry.

Other:

A quick look through my Ready To Go Binder ***produced the snowflake as well as the sentiment I needed.

Assembly:

  • Once it was dry, I glued the card face to the card base, centering vertically.

  • I glued the snowflake into the center of the stenciled section.

  • I added the sentiment across the center of the card.

  • I used three different sizes of pearls to add the final touches to the card, placing as shown.

Final thoughts:

This card was so fast, so easy ... and due to the embossing paste it has such a pretty sheen. This design is a keeper!
