Explore Exciting Design Styles for Handmade Cards

Let’s get Started:

Card Base: 7.25 x 7, scored and folded at 3.5”

Black Border Layer: 7 x 3.25

Copper Border Layer: 6.75 x 3

Card Face: 6.5 x 2.75

Card Face:

  • I stamped the image with Memento Black Ink.

  • I coloured the image with alcohol markers.

Assembly

  • I glued the black layer to the card base, centering on all sides.

  • I glued the copper layer on top of these, and finally added the card face, again centering on all sides.

Final Thoughts:

I didn’t add any embellishments to this card, nor did I add a sentiment. I wanted the beautiful art work to speak for itself.

I did add a layer of copper foil cardstock to provide some shine, and I feel that worked well for this design.
