Let’s get Started:

Cream Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Cream Card Face: 5.5 x 4..25

Card Face:

• After laying the Card Face on the Grip Mat I positioned the stencil.

• I applied metallic gold ink across the exposed areas.

• As this is a pigment ink, I put the piece aside to dry for a bit.

Other:

• I cut the layers of the tree out of cream coloured cardstock and glued them together.

• I cut and embossed the large snowflake out of cream cardstock.

• I looked through my binder ** and selected the sentiment, already cut from gold foil and waiting to be used.

Assembly

• I glued the card face onto the card base.

• I added the tree and snowflake as shown in the image.

• I glued on the sentiment, choosing to separate the words rather than have them together on the card face.

• I added a metallic gold pearl to the snowflake and the tree.

Final Thoughts:

The gold metallic ink is so pretty, it gives the card face a lovely shimmer.

This is the first time I’ve used that snowflake combo embossing folder/die: I’m a fan!

I initially intended to have the snowflake towards the top and the tree at the bottom of the card face - until I discovered that I had glued the card face on upside down. I simply continued with the design as shown - it worked out in the end.
