Peaceful Scene

You can almost hear the quiet

Let’s get Started:

Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Border Layer: 5 ⅜ x 4 1/8

Card Face: 5.25 x 4

Card Face:

  • I placed the card face in my stamp positioner and stamped with light gray ink. I stamped twice, to get the necessary depth in the image.

Other:

The Peace and the Love & Joy are from the same Stamp/Die set

  • I die cut “Peace” 3x out of cardstock.

  • I stamped “Love and Joy” using the same gray ink, but only stamping once this time. I used the accompanying die in the set to cut it down to the correct size. I cut one extra rectangle as well.

Assembly

I glued the three die-cuts together to end up with one “Peace” with some dimension.

I glued the two die-cut rectangles together, to add just a bit of height.

I glued the border layer on the card base, and the card face on top of both, centering on all sides with both layers.

Final Thoughts:

I absolutely love this card. The scene is so nostalgic and tranquil, and the soft grey suits it perfectly.
