Let’s get Started:

Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Black Border: 5.5 x 4.25*

Card Face: 5.25 x 4.00

Card Face:

I stamped the image with Memento ink, and coloured it with alcohol markers. (I also used a metallic gold gel pen for her gold jewellery)
I dusted the card face liberally with anti-static powder.
I put the card face onto my Grip Mat and positioned the stencil.
I traced the pattern with an embossing pen in each of the rays around her, removed the stencil, sprinkled on silver embossing powder and set it with my heat gun.
I wanted to highlight the old gal a bit more, so I drew a rectangle around her with a ruler and pencil. I used the ruler again as well as a micro liner to go over the rectangle, but taking care to go between the rays and not over them. (That way the rays appear to be going over the top of the rectangle, rather than the other way around.)

Other:

I stamped the sentiment with black ink and then cut it into two pieces as shown.
I also cut the black strip to the appropriate lengths and glued them to the back of each sentiment piece, allowing the black to peek out at the bottom.
I put a foam strip on the back of each sentiment piece.

Assembly:

I glued the black layer to the card base, and the card face on top of this, centering vertically.
I added the sentiment strips as shown in the image.
I added gold and silver bling as shown.

Final Thoughts:

I love this old gal, all glammed up and ready to hit the town. I was glad to have a chance to get her out and have a play. She is perfect for this sentiment - as anyone can tell, with all that jewellery!
