Let’s Get Started:

Card Base: 4.25 x 11, scored and folded at 5.5

Dark Pink Layer: 4.25 x 5.5

Card Face: 4 x 5.25

Card Face:

• I placed this in an embossing folder and ran it through my Big Shot. The simple oval floral is so pretty for a card like this.

• I put the largest of the oval stencils in place around the embossed oval and applied a soft pink ink. I built the ink up at the out edge, and allowed it to fade as it moved towards the center.

Other:

• I used a corner punch on each of the corners of the card face.

• I used the same punch on each of the corners of the pink layer.

Assembly:

• I glued the pink layer to the card base - the punched corners allowed the white corners of the card base to peek through.

• I glued the card face on top of this, lining up the corners carefully.

• I used an irridescent snowflake from a package that was gifted to me last year , putting a pop dot on the back to add dimension.

• I added a large sparkly gem to the middle of the snowflake.

Final thoughts:

This card has a timeless appeal, and will be sent to a dear friend this December.
