'Tis the Season

Let’s Get Started:

Card Base: 4.25 x 11, scored and folded at 5.5

Border: 5.5 x ⅛” x 2 **

Card Face: 5 ⅛ x 3 7/8

Card Face:

• I attached the stencil to the right-hand side of the card face.

• I applied red ink to the top half of the stencil, allowing it to fade as it approached the middle.

• I repeated this with green ink, working from the bottom up and ensuring that the two inks met but didn’t overlap.

Other:

• I had previously stamped, coloured and fussy-cut Harold, and he was pulled out of my Ready to Go Binder *** to make an appearance on this card.

• I also pulled the sentiment out of my binder - I had prepared quite a few in advance.

Assembly:

• I glued the card face to the card base, centering vertically.

• I ran a very narrow line of glue along the left and right-hand edges of the card face and added the two narrow strips of border.

• I added Harold Gnome towards the lower left of the card.

• I added a foam strip to the back of the sentiment and put it in place.

• I added 3 tiny stars to the right-hand pillar on each of the H’s.

Final thoughts:

This is a fun card that will bring a smile to someone when they get it in the mail. I’m happy with this one.
