Cream Card Base: 5.5 x 8.5, scored and folded at 4.25

Cherry Cobbler Border: 5.25 x 4 **

Kraft Card Face: 5 ⅛ x 3 ⅞

This is a great stencil - it includes a piece of pie and also gives a choice of several sentiments.

Card Face:

• After laying the card face on my Grip Mat I positioned the stencil portion that would create the piece of pie.

• I masked off all open areas around the pie and then used light brown ink and a soft hand across the exposed area.

• I repositioned the stencil so one of the sentiments was over the pie. After again masking off any exposed areas nearby I brushed on Cherry Cobbler ink with a firm hand.

Other:

I die cut three of the pies out of white cardstock, and then coloured them with alcohol markers.

Assembly

• I centered the Cherry Cobbler border on the card base and glued it in place.

• I glued the card face on top of these.

• I assembled the pies and glued them in place as shown.

• I added the tiny hearts and the white bling.

Final Thoughts:

I like the rustic look created by the kraft cardstock, and the combination of die cuts and stenciled images. If I do this again I would use vellum for the steam as I think the translucent nature would be perfect.
